For the City of Tempe Voters, I recommend voting NO to a sales tax increase (Resolution 2010.10a).
Why? Because there are no arguments either for or against this tax increase and with all other things being equal, I say NO to paying more money.
Chandler has a lower tax rate than Tempe and other cities near here. I went to Chandler to buy a new car and the tax savings by itself was around $400.
